Sustainability is a team sport. Implementing initiatives requires collaboration among employees, and even the broader community. AE Works will share helpful tips and lessons learned from its company sustainability challenge on engaging teams to reduce waste, energy and water consumption at an upcoming Sustainable Pittsburgh Challenge Workshop. The workshop, Engaging Employees and Community for Lasting Change, is scheduled for Thursday, August 16th at the Energy Innovation Center from 8:30 am – 11:30 am.
Safiya Hodari, an architect and green team member at AE Works will be sharing how AE Works achieved 100% staff participation in our internal competition and how some friendly competition helped the organization and individuals meet their sustainability goals. Ideas to build excitement about sustainability initiatives in your own organization will be shared.
To register for this workshop, visit the Sustainable Pittsburgh website. This workshop is open to all who are interested. Sustainable Pittsburgh Challenge participation is not required.
