Healthcare spaces should be about improving the patient experience.
AE Works Chief Design Officer Richard Witt is quoted in the recently released Healthcare Design Magazine building survey, sharing how building designers and consultants can help healthcare organizations:
“In addition to new models of care, healthcare organizations are balancing numerous other priorities that will require a design eye. From regulatory and energy mandates to accelerated technology and security concerns, we as design professionals must provide solutions that optimize buildings, provide flexibility and sustainability, all while integrating with an existing campus to create a holistic environment where people are the focus.”
The biennial survey was conducted earlier this year surveying A/E/C firms about trends in the healthcare design industry.
